The goal of our young toddlers group is to encourage learning through hands on experiences and teacher directed activities. Our circle time consists of reading board books, singing songs (such as ABC’s), and simple counting 1 through 10.

The educators in this group alternate between teacher directed activities (e.g. making shapes with Play-Doh at the table or painting with sponges) and free play where the child directs the activity (e.g. Sand table play or building Duplo towers). This group follows a flexible schedule with breakfast at 9 AM, lunch at 12 PM, and nap from 1 PM to 3 PM. We ask parents to supply diapers and diaper cream. We provide meals and milk. We are open to introducing potty training as long as the parents are doing the same at home.
